Police investigate deadly single-vehicle crash on Fondren Rd
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal wreck that occurred at 3900 Fondren Rd on Sunday.
A 34-year-old man was driving a blue Infiniti G35 south on Fondren Rd when he hit a curb and a tree before slamming into a light pole around 3:50 a.m.
The driver and his female passenger were ejected from the vehicle. The car then burst into flames.
Paramedics transported the driver and his passenger to an area hospital, where the female died. The driver is in critical condition.
The HPD Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
