Police investigate fatal, fiery crash near Remington Ranch

HOUSTON, TX – Authorities are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision on the North Freeway Service Road Sunday night, according to Click 2 Houston.

A man was speeding when he slammed into the feeder wall near North Freeway Service Road and Rankin Road around 11:15 p.m. The man’s vehicle then caught on fire.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and pronounced the driver dead at the scene.

Crews closed down the area to clear the scene following the collision.
