Pregnant woman dies, teen injured in wrong-way collision in northeast Harris County
HARRIS COUNTY, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a pregnant woman died in a wrong-way collision at Tidwell Road and C E King Parkway on Thursday.
Gloria Guevera was driving a red Mustang when she was rear-ended by a white Nissan Titan around 8:30 p.m. The collision sent Guevera into oncoming traffic, where she collided head-on with a truck hauling a trailer.
First responders pronounced Guevera dead at the scene. She was two to three months pregnant. Her teen passenger was hospitalized. The extent of the teen’s injuries is unknown.
Authorities are trying to find the driver who rear-ended Guevera. Anyone with information concerning the incident is urged to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
