Semi-truck driver charged in connection to fatal DWI crash on I-10
HOUSTON, TX – A 31-year-old man is facing manslaughter charges in connection to a four-vehicle collision on I-10 that claimed the life of a woman on Monday morning.
According to KTRK, the crash happened at about 11:35 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near McCarty Street.
UPDATE: Pablo Isai Frias, 31, is charged with intoxication manslaughter for his role in yesterday’s (April 18) fatal crash at 7800 East Freeway.

Officers believe the driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe, Miriam Buentello, collided with a Kenworth tractor-trailer while changing lanes. Her vehicle was then hit by a Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by 31-year-old Pablo Isai Frias.
Buentello was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers took Frias into custody after determining he was under the influence. He has since been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
