Semi-truck driver fatally collides with bicyclist near Dow One Park
HOUSTON, TX – According to KHOU, a semi-truck driver struck and killed a male bicyclist on the Texas 8 Beltway Frontage Rd EB near the Hardy Toll Rd on Friday.
The semi-truck driver hit the bicyclist around 6 a.m. Following the collision, the semi-truck driver fled.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Crews shut down three frontage road lanes to investigate the collision.
