HOUSTON, TX- An injured man jumped out of his car right before the vehicle struck a train and caught on fire at 9700 Mykawa Road on Jan. 19th, KTRK reports.

It is not known exactly when the man was shot. However, footage from a nearby security camera at Best Trailer Repair Service shows that there was a car following the vehicle with the injured man. The injured driver drove sharply to the right, escaped his car, and then the vehicle hit the train and caught on fire.

The train was hit at 8:10p.m.

The man was shot by the time he escaped his vehicle. He was hit in his upper body. The man then walked away from the scene and was later hospitalized after being found at 6800 Telean. This address is about a mile and a half from the Mykawa address.
