Single-vehicle crash in Friendswood leaves two officers injured
FRIENDSWOOD, TX- Two officers were injured after saving a woman involved in a single vehicle crash on FM 528 on Sunday, ABC13 reports.
The accident occurred in-between Moore Road and Canal Drive.
At 3:30a.m., the unidentified female driver crashed her vehicle into a construction site. The vehicle rolled over, then caught on fire.
The woman was saved, but one officer who responded to the call suffered from smoke inhalation and another was burned. Both officers were hospitalized but were able to leave in stable condition.
There is an ongoing investigation into this incident.
