Single-vehicle crash on Beechnut St. leaves 1 dead, 1 hospitalized
HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed and another was rushed to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash in southwest Houston early Friday.
According to a report by Fox 26, the vehicle skidded off the roadway in the 12200 block of Beechwood Street, near Cook Road at about 1 a.m. and slammed into a group of trees.
One occupant, an unidentified man in his late teens to early 20s, was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
The vehicles other occupant was taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
