Single-vehicle crash on FM 2678 in Refugio Co. injures 1
REFUGIO CO., TX- A 51-year-old was hurt Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash caused by fatigue in south-central Refugio County.
According to Refugio County Press, the accident happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. on FM 2678 between Bayside and Refugio. This is a couple of hours southwest of Houston.
Police say that Chantel Alleman nodded off while driving her Dodge Charger southbound on FM 2678. The car left the roadway and overturned.
Medics transported Alleman to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
There were no other passengers in the car at the time of the accident.
A full investigation is underway.
