Speeding Corvette driver fatally crashes on S. Loop W.
HOUSTON,TX- The driver of a Chevrolet Corvette was speeding when he crashed and died on I-610 on Feb. 4th, the Houston Police Department reports.
It was reported by witnesses who witnessed the crash that at 10:05p.m., the Corvette’s owner lost control of the vehicle and the car spun out. After several spins, the vehicle hit a wall on the side of the interstate before rolling over.
When first responders arrived on scene at 3000 South Loop West, the 61 year-old man was pronounced dead. The Houston Fire Department was one of the groups who responded to the call.
The victim has not been identified yet as his identity is pending verification.
There is a continuing investigation being run on this case.
