Speeding driver dies from crash on Fry Road
CYPRESS, TX- A driver, who was reported to be racing another vehicle, crashed into another car at Fry Rd. and Morrison Grove Drive on Jan. 6th.
Fox26Digital reports that the man was driving a white Ford 250. The other driver he is suspected of racing with drove a Ram 1500 Rebel. This second drive drove off from the scene after the accident.
The accident occurred when a Mazda CX-9, which was turning onto Morrison Grove Dr., crashed into the Ford during a yellow light. The Mazda was supposed to yield to northbound traffic but did not do so.
The female driver of this Mazda suffered minor injuries.
The male driver of the Ford died after his car hit a pole on the right side of the road. He was not utilizing a seatbelt.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating this accident.
