Speeding motorcyclist injured after going off overpass over Highway 288
HOUSTON, TX- A motorcycle driver was seriously injured after flying off an overpass and hitting a vehicle on Highway 288 below on March 31st, KTRK reports.
The driver was found to have been speeding at the time. When he drove off Holcombe Boulevard onto Highway 288, he landed on top of a deputy’s vehicle.
It was around 3:55p.m. when that happened.
The motorcyclist was the only one injured in the accident. The deputy from the other vehicle applied a tourniquet to him before medics arrived. The motorcycle driver was then hospitalized and was in critical condition.
