Suspect at large in fatal pedestrian crash at Kassarine, Cherbourg
HOUSTON, TX – A hit-and-run crash claimed the life of an 18-year-old man over the weekend in southeast Houston, reports abc 13 News.
The accident occurred Saturday night in the area of Kassarine Pass and Cherbourg Road, which is just west of Kelso Elementary School and south of I-610.
Police say that a red GMC pickup truck was travelling at a high rate of speed when it struck and killed the victim near the intersection.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased pedestrian.
The driver of the pickup did not stop to render aid or to speak with police.
Officials are looking for red GMC pickup truck with probable front-end damage.
