Suspected drunk driver killed after head-on crash on W. Airport Blvd.
HOUSTON, TX- A driver died at the scene of an accident that he caused by driving head-on into traffic in SW Houston on Feb. 26th, Click2Houston reports.
The suspected intoxicated driver was speeding as he crossed into a lane that held traffic driving in the opposite direction. It was then that the green KIA Forte crashed into a red Dodge Avenger around 7:35a.m.
The victim died from his injuries at 3400 West Airport Boulevard, which is where the accident occurred.
When law enforcement arrived on the scene, there were many alcoholic containers in the at-fault driver’s Kia.
The other driver sustained small injuries but was still hospitalized.
