Suspected impaired driver dies following single-vehicle crash near Woodland Park
HOUSTON, TX – According to ABC 13, an allegedly impaired driver died following a wreck on I-45 NB near Quitman St on Sunday.
The driver of a Chevy Cruze slammed into a wall around 11:30 p.m. The impact sent the Cruze into the northbound lanes, where a tow truck driver hit them.
Rescue crews transported the Cruze driver to an area hospital, where he died. The tow truck driver was not hurt in the collision.
Authorities believe impairment may have played a factor in the incident.
