Tanker truck, 3 cars collide on TX-6 NB in Berkshire area
HOUSTON, TX – Hazmat crews responded Friday to a multi-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck along the highway in northwest Houston.
According to abc 13, the accident happened shortly before 7 a.m. on TX-6 near Addicks Satsuma Road in the Berkshire area.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the crash, which police say involved three cars and a fuel tanker. Upon impact, the tanker began to spill fuel into the roadway.
Officials reported only minor injuries; it’s unclear if anyone required hospitalization.
The northbound lanes of TX-6 were closed Friday morning while crews attended to the fuel spill and worked to clear the scene.
