Three injured in San Antonio 18-wheeler crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Three people were sent to the hospital following a T-bone collision involving an 18-wheeler south of San Antonio Sunday night.

The crash happened within the intersection of Palo Alto Road and Mission Gate at about 10:00 p.m., according to KENS.

Police believe a black sedan was struck by the semi when the driver unknowingly pulled in front of the truck. The collision caused the car to spin around, coming to a stop in the northbound lanes of Palo Alto Rd.

The two occupants in the car were transported to the hosptial in stable condition. The driver is said to have sustained “significant injuries.” The driver of the truck was also taken to the hosptial to be treated for minor injuries.

Authorities do not believe any charges will be filed, nor did alcohol play a role in the collision.
