Tractor-trailer accident closes lane, shoulder on SH-99 in Cypress
HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A crash involving a big rig late Thursday morning blocked a left lane and left shoulder on State Highway 99 in north Cypress, according to Houston Transtar.
The collision occurred on the westbound lanes of SH-99 (Grand Parkway) at Cypress Rosehill Road. It was verified by Houston Transtar at 11:42 a.m.
Details remain limited, but officials indicated two vehicles, including a “heavy truck” were involved.
At 1:15 p.m., more than 1.5 hours later, the closure remained in place.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously hurt and/or required transport to a hospital.
