Trailer accident blocks both sides of the interstate on I-10 E
HOUSTON, TX- A crash left a large trailer stranded across lanes going in both directions of I-10 E on March 22nd, KTRK reports.
TranStar clocked in accidents in this general area of I-10 E and Beltway 8 at both 12:51 p.m. and at 1:42 p.m.
Images of the scene showed a large and empty car carrier stretched out, with the front of the vehicle stretched out in the opposing lanes. It clearly indicated that the trailer had crashed through the median.
Traffic was seen in video footage to be allowed to continue moving, although the lanes that contained the crash’s wreckage remained closed.
The video footage also showed a white SUV that sustained heavy frontal damage. It is assumed that this vehicle was also involved in the same crash as the trailer.
More specific details on the cause of the crash and on other vehicles involved in the accident have not been revealed yet.
