Train fatally collides with commercial vehicle on County Road 315 in Wharton County

WHARTON COUNTY, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, at least one person died when a train hit a commercial vehicle on County Road 315 near US 59 Thursday morning.

The train struck the vehicle around 10 a.m.

The incident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Officials have not released more details.
