The incident reportedly occurred during the evening traffic rush.
Authorities said the roadway gave way in the 13100 block of Veterans Memorial Drive. The sinkhole caused traffic to back up in the surrounding area. Aerial footage showed water moving under the pavement near the collapsed area.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the vehicle entered the hole and became trapped.
