Two-vehicle collision on N Beltway 8 at Veterans injures officer
HOUSTON, TX – A police officer was hurt Sunday when a vehicle struck their cruiser on the freeway in northwest Houston, reports abc 13.
The collision occurred in the evening on the eastbound side of Texas 8 Beltway at Veterans Memorial Drive, which is just northwest of Houston National Cemetery.
Police say that a car hit a patrol vehicle that was stopped along the shoulder of Texas 8.
The officer inside the parked vehicle sustained minor injuries; it’s unclear if they required hospitalization.
No additional injuries have been referenced in connection to the accident, nor do we have word regarding charges.
