Two-vehicle crash and vehicle fire on FM 1100 seriously injured two
ELGIN, TX- A two-vehicle collision and fire critically injured two early Tuesday on FM 1100, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
The incident was reported near the 16300-16321 area of FM 1100 at approximately 6:58am. Officials arrived to the scene of the head-on collision and worked for over an hour to extricate the trapped victim. Both of the critically injured victims were transported via STAR Flight to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment.
