Two-vehicle wreck closes two lanes on I-69 in SW Houston
HOUSTON, TX — Authorities responded to the scene of a wreck Monday afternoon on Interstate Highway 69 in southwest Houston, according to Houston Transtar.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes of IH-69 (Southwest Freeway), at Montrose Boulevard, in the city’s Broadacres area. It was verified by Houston Transtar at 3:24 p.m.
Few details have been made available, but two vehicles were impacted, leaving two center lanes closed in the immediate aftermath.
By 4:03 p.m., nearly 40 minutes after the initial report, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway.
Local agencies have not confirmed the cause of the crash or any serious injuries as of this writing.
