TxDOT reopens I-59 in Houston after truck collision 

HOUSTON, TX – The Texas Department of Transportation reopened the southbound lanes on Interstate 59 along Dairy Ashford around 8:30 a.m. Friday after a truck collision.

According to a Houston Transtar image reposted by Fox26Houston, a large truck appeared to be blocking the roadway, along with at least two police cruisers and one firetruck engine.

Officials have not specified the events leading up to the crash or said how many people and vehicles were involved, but said traffic is back to normal.
