UPDATE: Officials charge driver who killed two in 41st Street accident with DUI

AUSTIN, TX- As reported previously, the driver who ejected and killed two passengers in a vehicle that went airborne and crashed was charged on Friday with intoxication and manslaughter, according to Fox 7 Austin.

The driver himself was seriously injured after a crash near the intersection of West 41st Street and Medical Parkway early Thursday. At approximately 1:30am, the vehicle crashed and ejected the two passengers out of the vehicle, hitting a wall. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while the seriously injured driver was charged.
