Victim struck, killed by METRO bus on N Holmes near Hiram Clarke

HOUSTON, TX – A METRO bus struck and killed a pedestrian early Friday along a major roadway in southwest Houston, reports Fox 26 Houston.

The accident happened around 4 a.m. on North Holmes Road just east of Hiram Clarke Road, which is northwest of Wildcat Golf Club.

Police say that the victim stepped in front of the bus during a road test. They died after transport to an area hospital.

Authorities have not yet identified the deceased pedestrian.

Officials closed North Holmes Road in the area of the crash while crews worked at the scene.
