Woman dies following single-vehicle crash on Foley Rd
CROSBY, TX – A woman was killed in a single-vehicle collision on the 1600 block of Foley Rd on Sunday, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Nickie Roldan was driving a 2004 Mercedes CLK320 west on Foley Rd when she failed to negotiate a curve, causing her vehicle to rotate counter-clockwise.
Roldan exited the roadway and entered a grassy ditch. She then went airborne, flipped, and slammed into multiple trees. Roldan was ejected from the Mercedes during the crash. The vehicle then caught on fire.
Rescue crews pronounced Roldan dead at the scene.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
