Woman killed after motorcycle accident on South I-35
AUSTIN, TX – A multiple-vehicle collision killed a motorcycle passenger on I-35 Saturday near St. Edwards Drive Saturday morning, CBS Austin reports.
The crash occurred on southbound South 1-35 when the passenger fell off the motorcycle.
The unidentified female was then struck by two passing vehicles. Responders pronounced her dead at the scene.
Authorities say one driver sped away from the scene after the collision. The second motorist awaited the arrival of police and is reported to be “cooperating with the investigation.”
The driver of the motorcycle faces charges of driving while intoxicated.
