Woman killed in hit-and-run at Richmond Ave, Fountain View Dr
HOUSTON, TX – A woman died Tuesday when a vehicle struck her at a busy intersection on the west side of Houston, reports My Texas Daily.
The accident happened early in the morning at the intersection of Richmond Avenue and Fountain View Drive, which is just northwest of Anderson Park in the Larchmont area.
Police say that a white car crossed over a curb and hit a pedestrian while making a turn at the intersection.
The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified by authorities, sustained fatal injuries.
The driver of the sedan did not stop to render aid or to speak with authorities.
