Woman loses life in rear-end crash with tractor-trailer in Houston 

HOUSTON, TX – A woman’s life was claimed in a rear-end crash involving a tractor-trailer on westbound South Loop on Friday, according to Fox26Houston.

The collision happened before midnight along Kirby Drive. Preliminary details show the tractor-trailer stalled on the freeway. Some time later, a woman driving an unspecified vehicle crashed into the back of it.

EMS crews transported the female driver to a hospital, where she later died.

The truck driver was uninjured.

The name of the deceased is being withheld until her family is notified.
