Woman sustains head injuries in hit-and-run at Dennis, Nagle
HOUSTON, TX – A woman sustained injuries Thursday morning in an auto-pedestrian accident in south central Houston, reports Fox 26 Houston.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. at the intersection of Dennis Street and Nagle Street, which is just south of Third Ward Chess Park and north of Riverside General Hospital.
Police say that the driver of a 2022 Mercedes fled the scene after hitting a female pedestrian.
Medics transported the pedestrian to an area hospital with head injuries.
Authorities suspect that the driver of the Mercedes is also responsible for crashing through a fence at a nearby school.
Officials arrested the suspect later that day on charges related to the two collisions.
A full investigation is underway.
