Worker killed in heavy machinery accident in Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND, TX – An industrial worker died in a heavy machinery accident Wednesday at a Sugar Land worksite, reports Click2Houston.

The fatal incident reportedly occurred at the McKaskle Industrial Complex in the 15200 block of McKaskle Road.

Emergency teams arrived on site following reports of the accident. Responders found one person dead at the worksite.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said heavy machinery use played a role in the incident. Officials have not released the worker’s name or explained how the accident may have happened. They also have not clarified whether any safety issues were a factor.
