Wrong-way collision claims man’s life on N Shepherd Dr in Houston’s Greater Heights
HOUSTON, TX — A head-on crash late Thursday night in Houston’s Greater Heights area claimed a man’s life and left the wrong-way driver injured, reports ABC13.
Houston Police say the events took place on North Shepherd Drive near West 7th Street at about 11:30 p.m.
Preliminary details show a woman was behind the wheel of a wrong-way SUV. As the SUV approached the crest of a hill, the vehicle collided head-on with a white car driven by the victim, who died from his injuries at the scene.
First responders transported the woman to a local hospital for injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
