Wrong-way driver hurt in 2-vehicle crash in northwest Houston

HOUSTON, TX -A wrong-way driver was hurt after they collided with a minivan on Antoine Drive near Breen Drive on Monday.

A 20-year-old driver was heading south on Antoine Drive when they strayed into the northbound lanes and hit a minivan head-on. The 20-year-old driver then slammed into a fence.

First responders transported the 20-year-old to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The two occupants of the minivan were treated at the scene.

The incident is under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
