1 dead in crash involving 2 cars and 2 tow trucks on W Loop S
HOUSTON, TX- One driver died after crashing into two tow trucks who were assisting a stalled car on W. Loop S on Dec. 8th, HPD reports.
The incident occurred at 2300 W. Loop South at 2a.m. A Lexus RX300 was stationary on an open lane and two trucks were assisting it when a Jeep Cherokee driver drove into a tow truck. That first tow truck then crashed into the second truck.
CPR was performed on the Jeep driver by the two truck drivers and some officers. However, the victim ended up passing away on the scene. He was 49 years-old.
The Lexus driver, Arllette Anahi Reyes, 21, was intoxicated at the time of the crash. She was arrested and charged for this.
