3 teens dead after police chase ends in crash near Cypressdale
HOUSTON, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, three teens died, and three teens were hurt when a police pursuit ended in a wreck near Sorrel Ridge Dr and Rolling Terrace Dr on Thursday morning.
Deputies spotted a car on Rolling Creek Dr. that they believed may have been stolen. They attempted to pull it over, but the driver refused to stop, so a pursuit was initiated.
The chase ended when the teen driver crashed at Sorrel Ridge Dr and Rolling Terrace Dr.
The vehicle was occupied by six teens between the ages of 14 and 16 years old. First responders pronounced two teens dead at the scene. Another teen died in the hospital. The other three occupants suffered serious injuries.
Deputies found hammers and gloves that may have been “smash and grab” equipment inside the vehicle.
