Motorcyclist dies after hitting a vehicle on Long Point Rd.
HOUSTON, TX- A motorcyclist died on his way to the hospital after striking a turning vehicle on Long Point Rd. on March 3rd, the HPD reports.
At 4:20p.m., a red Dodge Journey was turning into 7800 Long Point Road when it was struck by a Ducati motorcycle.
The female driver of the Dodge stayed at the scene, and authorities ruled out the possibility of her driving while impaired. No information was provided regarding any injuries she may have suffered.
The 45 year-old male driver of the red Ducati was severely injured and died before he reached the hospital.
Both the Houston Police Department and the Houston Fire Department responded to the accident.
There is still an open investigation on this case to determine who was at-fault.
