10,000 lb. bar injures someone on Amelia Road in industrial incident
HOUSTON, TX- On March 3rd, a person was entrapped by a 10,000 lb. bar when the structure landed on top of that person’s legs on Amelia Road, KTRK reports.
The incident was reported around 5:30p.m. that evening via the Houston Fire Department’s Twitter account.
@HoustonFire is on scene responding to reports of an industrial accident at 12500 Amelia Dr. Preliminary information: a civilian sustained injuries after an estimated 10,000 lbs. bar trapped their legs. Civilian is extricated & currently enroute to hospital. @FireChiefofHFD

The victim was hospitalized after being removed from the situation by first responders. No specific details or updates have been provided regarding the person’s condition.
