Semitruck collision results in a fatality on Beltway 8
HOUSTON, TX- One person was killed when a semitruck and passenger vehicle crashed on Beltway 8 during the afternoon of March 7th, KHOU11 reports.
This crash occurred in the northbound lanes of Beltway 8 near Westheimer Road. A video by TranStar showed that although traffic was impacted, it was also kept moving as authorities responded to the scene.
It was around 2:35p.m. that the accident was first reported, and it is not known who was responsible for the accident or how the collision happened.
The victim who passed away was in the passenger vehicle. No mention was made of the truck driver’s health condition.
