Man, 34, charged after deadly collision in Houston’s Sharpstown area 

HOUSTON, TX – A 34-year-old man has been charged with intoxication manslaughter in connection with a deadly collision in the Sharpstown area on Wednesday.

According to City of Houston News, the crash happened around 10:15 p.m. in the 7700th block of Bellaire Road. The 34-year-old man, identified as Giovany Flores, was driving a white Lexus RX-330 on westbound Bellaire when he failed to yield to a silver Honda Accord making a U-turn.

The two vehicles collided. EMS rushed Flores and his female passenger to a hospital, where she later died. Her identity has not been disclosed.
