Multi-vehicle crash downs power lines on Southwest Fwy.
HOUSTON, TX – A multi-vehicle collision on I-69 in southwest Houston downed several powerlines on Thursday morning.
According to a report by Fox 26, the crash occurred along the freeway service road near the Newcastle Drive exit ramp at about 8 a.m.
Details concerning the cause of the crash are unavailable at this time. However, two vehicles were involved and a number of power poles and lines were knocked down as a result.
CenterPoint Energy crews were called to the scene to repair the damages and restore power to homes in the area.
