EMS crews respond to major hit-and-run in Houston’s Greenway/Upper Kirby area
HOUSTON, TX — A hit-and-run collision Thursday afternoon in southwest Houston’s Greenway/Upper Kirby area prompted a multi-agency response, according to the City of Houston Active Incidents page.
The accident was reported at 11 Greenway Plaza Drive, off Richmond Avenue. Houston police, firefighters, and EMS personnel responded to the scene shortly 12:50 p.m.
Details remain very limited at this time, but dispatchers listed the incident as a “major” collision in which one party failed to stop and render aid (“FSRA”).
While the responding agencies have not indicated the number of people hurt or the extent of injuries sustained, the wreck resulted in an “EMS event.”
