HPD, HFD responds to major crash on St Joseph Pkwy near downtown Houston
HOUSTON, TX — Authorities were called to a collision Monday afternoon off Interstate 45 in Houston’s East Downtown area, according to the City of Houston Active Incidents page.
The accident was reported at 1999 St. Joseph Parkway, near the I-45 (North Freeway) inbound offramp. Houston Police and Houston Fire Department crews responded to the scene shortly after 2:30 p.m.
It remains unclear what led up to the wreck or what vehicles were involved, but dispatchers listed the incident as a “major” collision.
No injuries were immediately reported.
