EMS crews called following major collision on John F Kennedy Blvd in NE Houston
HOUSTON, TX — A vehicle accident was reported Thursday afternoon near George Bush Inter-continental Airport in northeast Houston, according to the City of Houston Active Incidents page.
The accident happened in the outbound lanes of 17900 John F. Kennedy Boulevard. Dispatchers were first alerted at around 1:29 p.m.
Although the circumstances of the event have not been made public, Houston Police and Fire Department crews responded to the scene. Officials listed the incident as a “major” but “not fatal” collision that resulted in an “EMS event.”
At this time, it’s unclear how many people were injured and how badly.
