Heavy truck involved in crash on SH-288 NB in South Central Houston
HOUSTON, TX — A two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon blocked two lanes on State Highway 288 near downtown Houston, according to Houston Transtar.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes of SH-288 at Elgin Street, just west of the South Central Houston neighborhood. It was first verified by officials at 3:07 p.m.
Few details have been provided, but a heavy truck and one other vehicle were involved in a crash that left the right lane and center lane blocked.
By 3:18 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway.
