Deputies investigate deadly 3-car wreck on North Freeway Service Rd
HOUSTON, TX – Harris County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that happened at 14100 North Freeway NB Service Rd.
A 2015 Nissan Altima driver was heading north when they changed lanes and hit a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Allison Laura Elizalde, 42, around 10:46 p.m. The Altima driver then hit a 2019 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by Fernando Soto, 57. The Altima was then sent crashing into a tree before catching on fire.
Rescue crews pronounced the Nissan Altima driver dead at the scene around 10:59 p.m. Officials have not released their name.
