Motorcyclist dies following wreck near Kashmere Gardens
HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist died in a single-vehicle collision on the connector ramp to 610 N Loop from the Eastex Fwy on Sunday, according to the Houston Police Department.
A 51-year-old man was driving a black Harley Davidson Electra Glide motorcycle north on the Eastex Fwy when he exited to the connector ramp to the 610 N Loop around 11:15 p.m.
The motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a barricade. The impact ejected the rider from the bike, and he landed on the Eastex Fwy below.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
