Driver crashes into restaurant on Dillard Dr in Jersey Village
JERSEY VILLAGE, TX – According to Click 2 Houston, a driver slammed into the restaurant Little Kitchen HTX and injured nine people on Saturday.
A 76-year-old woman accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing her to crash into the building around 12:20 p.m.
Rescue crews flew one woman to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. They transported three others to local hospitals via ambulance and treated five people for minor injuries at the scene.
Authorities determined the driver did not show signs of impairment. No criminal charges are expected to be filed for the incident.
