Deputies investigate deadly motorcycle crash near Donovan Park
HOUSTON, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating a deadly motorcycle wreck that occurred on the 22300 block of I-10 on Sunday.
Ayden Hobbs was riding a red 2007 Suzuki Hayabusa east on I-10 when he collided with the rear of a black 2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R operated by Charles Harris around 3:48 a.m.
The collision caused Hobbs and Harris to travel across all lanes of I-10 before slamming into the concrete barrier. The impact ejected Hobbs and Harris from their motorcycles.
Rescue crews transported Hobbs and Harris to an area hospital in critical condition, where Hobbs died at 1:51 p.m. Harris was admitted in serious but stable condition.
Harris cooperated with authorities and did not display signs of impairment.
Authorities have not filed criminal charges.
